It is approaching a quarter of a century since the people of Wales voted in favour of establishing a national assembly with devolved governing powers the 25th anniversary of the devolution referendum takes place on 18 September this year.Ĭlearly, a lot has happened since then, and the world has changed in innumerable small and not-so-small ways, both in Wales, and far beyond its borders.
